Requirements

ALL STUDENTS APPLYING FOR RDS MUST
MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Have a high school diploma or GED.
  3. Have a relationship with Christ.

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS MUST BE A PART OF THE STUDENT’S FILE TO BE
CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION INTO THE RDS OFFICE:

  1. Fill out application
  2. Submit recent picture (will not be returned)
  3. Submit Pastoral Reference form. The Pastoral Reference form filled out by a Pastor that knows you well. This form cannot be submitted by a close family relative who is a minister. It must be by someone who is in ministry not related to you.
  4. Application Fee
  5. High school transcripts, have them mailed to Refuge Discipleship School, 230 Refuge Way, Kannapolis, NC 28081

Once all requirements are met and items are submitted, our RDS staff will contact each applicant to set up a face-to-face interview with RDS staff. Once your first interview is completed, RDS staff will email an Emotional History form that must filled out and mailed to our office. This is a confidential form that is only viewed by RDS director. Once we receive this form, applicants will go through their final interview face-to-face with RDS director. After the final interview is completed our leadership team will prayerfully decide regarding acceptance into the RDS.

If applicant is from out of town, the use video calling will be used for face-to-face interview.
